How we verify discount codes
Every code on this site goes through the same pipeline before you see it — and keeps going through it every few hours after. Right now that means 58 firms tracked and 80 active codes, each re-checked on a rolling 5-hour cycle. Here is the whole process, including its limits.
Where codes come from
- Official firm emails. We are subscribed to the newsletters of the firms we track. When a firm emails a promo to its own list, that is the strongest evidence a code is real — those codes get the 📧 Email-verified badge.
- The firm's own website. Banners, checkout pages, and announcement bars on the firm's official domain.
- Our own partner codes. Codes issued to us directly by firms we partner with. These are verified by the firm itself when issued, and typically carry the largest discount the firm allows.
What we do not use: coupon aggregators, forum rumours, or influencer codes cross-posted at ten firms at once. If a code's only source is another coupon site, it does not get listed.
The 5-hour cycle
An automated monitor re-checks the code list on a rolling 5-hour cycle:
- New official firm emails are scanned for fresh promo codes.
- Codes with a known expiry date are removed automatically the day they lapse.
- Codes that disappear from a firm's site and emails are flagged and pruned.
- One firm per cycle also gets a deep audit: its pricing and rules on this site are compared line-by-line against its official pages.
The "verified" date stamped on firm pages and in the site header is generated at build time from this data — it is the real date of the last verification pass, not a marketing timestamp.
What the badges mean
- 📧 Email-verified — sourced from the firm's own promotional email. Strongest signal.
- EVERGREEN — a standing code with no expiry date, re-checked continuously.
- Expires … — a time-limited campaign; the date shown is the firm's own deadline, and the code is auto-removed after it.
The honest limits
We do not complete a purchase at 58 checkouts every day — no coupon site does, whatever they claim. A firm can kill a code mid-campaign without telling anyone, so a code can be dead for up to a few hours before our cycle catches it. If a code fails for you, tell us — reports get checked and fixed in the next cycle.

Some codes are our own partner codes and some links are affiliate links (marked rel="sponsored"). We earn a commission if you sign up through them; you pay the same or less. This never affects whether a code gets listed or how firms rank — see the about page for the full policy.
