Strengths & watch-outs
What works in your favour, and the quirks, fees, hidden rules and operational catches we found in Blue Guardian’s rules and FAQ. Always verify with the firm before purchase.
Strengths
- Generous max-drawdown buffer
- Static (not trailing) drawdown — equity gains stay banked
- EAs/automation officially allowed
- High payout split (80-85% base, 90% add-on; Nano up to 100%)
Watch out for
- Trailing drawdown — equity gains can shift the breach line
- Tight daily drawdown (see at a glance) — verify your worst-day before committing
- Consistency rule applies (see at a glance)
- Trustpilot reinstated this firm's TrustScore between 5 and 7 Nov 2026: 3.1 from 2,150 reviews (profile header '2,150 • 3.1', read twice on 2026-11-07; claimed profile).

It had been suspended from at least mid-September to 5 Nov 2026 for a breach of Trustpilot's guidelines (fake reviews removed), so the new score is young and may move.
- Guardian Shield -2% rule: 1st = 50% split, 2nd = account closed
- Guardian Shield Instant variant: -1% open loss auto-close
- Refund after 4th payout (effective Jan 21 2026)
- Guardian X: limited-time 1-step challenge with below-standard profit target, ~72-hour windows (weekends)
Show 33 more watch-outsShow 28 more watch-outsShow less
- TrustPilot has flagged the firm with guideline violations — rating volatile
- 2-min minimum hold time — tick scalping below 2min = breach (still in effect)
- Daily DD only $2k per $50k — verify backtest worst single-day
- Scaling now to $4,000,000 (up from $2M baseline)
- Account sizes now go to $400K
- 24h payout guarantee compensation is an additional 10% profit share on the delayed payout - NOT the flat $1,000 we previously listed.
Read moreShow less
The firm rewrote the help-centre article on 2026-08-05 and the $1,000 figure no longer appears anywhere on it; the 2-Step Standard rules article states the same 10% share. Compliance checks, risk reviews and slow Rise onboarding on your side are excluded from the guarantee.
- The 24h clock counts BUSINESS hours and pauses over weekends (office 09:00-17:00 Mon-Fri, Dubai time).
Read moreShow less
Since early Nov 2026 the homepage stat strip says '4hr avg payout time' where it said '24hr payout guarantee'; the 24-business-hour guarantee article (edited 23 Oct 2026) still stands.
- 90% profit split is a paid add-on, not the default, on every CFD model
- Faster payouts (7 days instead of 14) are also a paid add-on on the evaluation models
- Min trading days are PROFITABLE days - a losing or flat day does not count
- One trade every 30 days is required or the account is breached for inactivity. Futures funded accounts are stricter: one trade every 10 calendar days (7 days for accounts funded before 10 October 2026), weekends and public holidays included
- Margin usage over 80% on a running trade is classed as gambling
- Account passwords may not be changed from the one the firm issues
- Hedging is allowed inside an account but prohibited between separate accounts
- 3-Step, 1-Step Pro and (since Aug 2026) 2-Step Pro are documented but no longer purchasable - the homepage FAQ still names all of them plus a '2 Step Classic' that the buy widget has never carried
- Futures side runs EOD-trailing drawdown and hard contract caps (1-4 minis depending on plan) - a different risk model from the CFD side.
Read moreShow less
On Futures Elite (formerly Standard), Reserve and Express evaluations the EOD drawdown never locks during the evaluation - it trails the highest end-of-day close by the full amount until you pass.
- Buy-Now-Pay-Later line (80% split, 4% target, 1:30 leverage); the $10 down-payment price is gone from the buy widget since the 27 Oct 2026 relaunch
- Fast Track is the priciest way in: $135 at $5K against $72 for Instant, and it hands you a 1:30 / 85% split account where 1-Step gives 1:100 and the evaluation models can be upgraded to 90%.

You are paying for the skipped evaluation, not for better funded terms.
- Futures Reserve is now a build-your-own challenge (firm banner, badged NEW: "Fully Customizable Challenges").

Two knobs, both priced: keep the Daily Loss Limit ($600 / $1,200 / $1,700 / $3,000 by size) or drop it for $96 / $184 / $240 / $392 instead of $72 / $125 / $148 / $296, and take the 40% consistency 3-day pass or pay up for the 50% 2-day pass.
The old "Add Daily Loss Limit & Get Extra 20% OFF" banner is gone - the DLL build is simply the base price now.
- The buy widget advertises 'Up To Weekly' payouts on the funded CFD evaluation models while the help-centre rule articles still say every 14 days with a paid 7-day add-on. The firm contradicts itself; the rule articles are the documented figure.
- Buy Now Pay Later is a full product line, not a teaser: all six sizes $5K-$200K (list $69-$1,377 since the 27 Oct 2026 relaunch, shown at $41-$826 with BG25; the old $10 down payment is gone), on an 80% split with instant payouts, 4% daily loss and 8% max drawdown.
- 2 Step Nano funded payouts are CAPPED at 2% of the account per bi-weekly cycle ($500 on 25K up to $4,000 on 200K) - the firm prints it in its own funded table
- Both Nano models advertise 'Up to 100%' profit split in their funded tables - the only Blue Guardian CFD models to claim more than 90%
- NOV30 (30%) is the sitewide code since 3 Nov 2026 (banner: 'All accounts | CFDs & Futures') and covers Instant, 1-Step, 2-Step Standard, both Nano models and Futures Elite (formerly Standard), Express and Direct.
Read moreShow less
BG25 (25%) sits on Futures Reserve, Fast Track and Buy Now Pay Later. The one plan no code covers is the $5K Instant Starter (it sells at $11 against a $27 list price).
- Futures Express and Reserve both sell a faster pass as a paid upgrade: the default 40% consistency rule is a "3 Day Pass", and moving to a 50% rule ("2 Day Pass") costs +$13 / +$20 / +$31 / +$48 by size on Express ($99 / $150 / $236 / $368 list), or a whole higher price tier on Reserve ($80 / $138.67 / $184 / $348 list with the DLL).

Loosening the consistency rule is the product here, not a concession.
- Blue Guardian Futures caps the combined drawdown on one Live account at $15,000 (accounts purchased after 28 September 2026); if your eligible funded accounts add up to more, the firm splits the total across two Live accounts.
Read moreShow less
There is no fixed payout count for promotion, and after a Live buyout or breach a 30-day cooldown applies, after which you may trade only one funded account at a time.
- Every payout carries a 3% processing fee, and crypto payouts are capped at $1,000 per request on both CFD and Futures - anything larger has to go through Rise.
- The firm renamed its Futures Standard plan to Futures Elite on 6 Nov 2026 - same $154-$424 prices, same rules (EOD trailing, 40% consistency once funded, 90% split).

The widget, the 'Elite Account Rules' article and the payout-policy article carry the new name; the Live-account article still says 'Standard'.
How to play Blue Guardian
Model-specific observations about their rules and mechanics. Educational only — not trading or investment advice.
2-Step Standard $50k at $232 list (about $162 with the current sitewide code) is the value pick: 8% static drawdown, no consistency rule, and 3 profitable days to clear (5 for accounts bought before Aug 20, 2026).

Budget for the 90% split add-on - the base is 85%, and the '90%' in the firm's own widget already assumes you bought it.
The 4% daily DD is the real constraint ($2k per $50k), and Guardian Shield force-closes any trade at 2% floating loss on funded accounts (1% on Instant), so single-trade risk has to sit under that. Payouts land every 14 days unless you buy the 7-day add-on.
