The catch: the fee must be paid within 5 days of passing or the account is cancelled. The Pay After Pass page prints the fee on each size card ("then $189 activation — only after you pass").
The $9 entry itself is a promotion: a For Traders help-centre article dated 24 July 2026 says it runs "for a limited time", the Pay After Pass page shows the regular entry fees ($29 / $39 / $49 / $69 from $25K to $200K) struck through, and no end date is published.

- The PFDEALS code may not reduce the Pay After Pass activation fee: asked which plans the code covers, For Traders support replied on 2026-10-17, "This discount, I believe that it does not work for Activation Fees."
- Instant PRO is the one account with no daily loss limit, no consistency rule and no minimum days: max drawdown is the only rule.
- Daily loss is a fixed dollar amount set from the INITIAL balance (4% of $100K = $4,000); each day it is subtracted from the higher of your balance or equity, so a profitable day never enlarges the dollar limit.
- Reward cycles are capped: $15,000 per cycle on forex, $750-$3,000 on crypto PRO, $800-$4,500 on futures.
- Payout buffer on Pay After Pass, Instant and futures: you need $180-$6,000 of profit above the starting balance before the first reward ($750-$6,000 on Pay After Pass, $180-$3,000 on Instant, $1,250-$2,500 on futures).
- Inactivity closes accounts — 30 days on forex and crypto evaluations, but only 7 days on Instant and on futures evaluations, and 14 on funded futures.
- Passing in one shot is banned: making more than 70% of the profit target from a single trade, or from same-direction trades on one symbol, breaches T&C 11.1.
- No one-sided betting: putting a large share of available margin on one trade, or on several same-direction trades in one instrument, is banned as gambling (no % threshold published).
- Three markets on one account type: Forex/CFD, 70+ crypto coins 24/7, and exchange-listed futures on For Traders X.
- Every trade must stay open at least 5 seconds (anti-HFT rule, all accounts), and holding opposite positions on the same instrument across your own For Traders accounts is banned.
