FundedNext Futures rules that catch traders out
Details from FundedNext's rules, checkout and help centre that are easy to miss.
- Futures consistency rules run opposite ways: Flex applies a 40% guideline during the challenge and drops it once funded; Rapid Pro has none during the challenge and applies 40% after funding; Rapid Daily has none at any stage; and the no-challenge Direct account has a stricter 20% 'perpetual' rule that measures your all-time best day against each new cycle's profit, so one big day raises the bar for every later withdrawal.
- Legacy, the futures plan with the highest per-request withdrawal cap ($6,000 on 50K and 100K), left the buy widget on 7-8 October 2026 when the no-challenge Direct account took its place, and fundednext.com/futures/legacy now redirects to /futures. Since 13 October the firm's futures help centre lists only three challenge types (Flex, Rapid Pro & Daily and Direct) and its price table no longer includes Legacy, but the older Legacy help articles (edited 30 September) and the futures FAQ still describe it, the same way the FAQ still lists Bolt months after Bolt stopped selling.
- The futures line was reshuffled on 10 July 2026: the original Rapid and Bolt stopped being sold, and Rapid Pro / Rapid Daily replaced them. Bolt 50K at $99.99 still appears in the firm's own FAQ and schema.org catalogue, but it cannot be bought.
- A Rapid Pro / Rapid Daily funded account is closed after 5 Performance Rewards — it is a five-payout product, not an open-ended one.
- Rapid contract limits scale with account size (2 Minis/20 Micros on 25K, 4/40 on 50K, 6/60 on 100K); the widget's headline "6 Minis or 60 Micros" is only the 100K row.
- Rapid Daily is its own path, not Rapid Pro with an add-on: it comes with a daily loss limit, a buffer rule, daily rewards, no consistency rule and no add-ons; the Daily Loss Limit add-on is sold on Rapid Pro only. Reset fees differ by variant: Rapid Pro $84.99/$174.99/$299.99 vs Rapid Daily $89.99/$189.99/$299.99.
- Flex pays a flat 95% reward share: the reward-share article, the Flex funded rules and the buy widget agree; only the futures FAQ still mentions an add-on.
- Flex and Rapid have a $250 minimum withdrawal and no activation fee, and both need $500 of profit in the cycle before a withdrawal; Flex also needs 5 Benchmark Days ($200 a day on 50K and 100K, $250 on 150K) and pays at most 50% of the profit per withdrawal, capped at $1,500 / $2,500 / $4,000. The Direct account works differently: each cycle the end-of-day balance must reach the buffer level ($2,100 above the starting balance) with at least $800 above it, $800 to $1,200 per request, no reset, a trade at least every 7 days, and the account closes after its 5th withdrawal.
- FundedNext runs short 'Labs' experiments at fundednext.com/labs that open, sell out and close — and can come back or graduate. On 17 October 2026 FNL:002 (a 2-Step 25K CFD challenge with a 12% max loss, 4% daily loss limit, 85% reward share and at most 5 rewards) is marked Available again and is sold in the homepage buy widget at $149.99, while FNL:001 (the $50K 1-Step CFD account without a daily loss limit) and FNL:003 are marked Expired. FNL:003, the $50K no-challenge futures account sold for $149.99 in Labs, graduated into the permanent Direct account on 7 October at $283.99 list. Treat any Labs headline as 'maybe already closed' until you see it live on fundednext.com/labs.
- Futures micro-scalping: if 40% or more of a cycle's profit comes from winning trades closed within 10 seconds, challenge progress is put on hold and on a funded account that profit is deducted in full (warning at 30%; it never closes the account).
- Futures maximum loss limit stops trailing at the starting balance + $100 ($50,100 / $100,100 / $150,100 on Flex; $25,100 / $50,100 / $100,100 on Rapid), and the first withdrawal sets it there.
- Futures inactivity: challenge and funded accounts are breached after 30 days without a trade, Direct accounts after 7.
- Futures price limits: no trading within 2% of the CME daily price limit (the CME limit for equity index futures is 7%).
- Futures account limits: at most 5 active funded accounts per person and per household (same address or IP), at most 10 issued per calendar month, and $750,000 of challenge accounts combined.
