PROP FIRM GUIDE • UPDATED SEPTEMBER 2026

Best Prop Firms for Nigerian Traders in 2026

Nigeria sits on more restricted lists than almost any other country outside the sanctioned ones, and the reason is usually the payment processor rather than the firm. That makes the short list of firms that do accept Nigerian traders worth more than any ranking. We checked all 54 firms we track against their own terms of service, FAQ and restricted-country pages: 10 state that they accept Nigerian residents, 10 exclude the country outright, and 34 do not document it either way — those are left off this page rather than guessed at. The second gate is getting paid. Rise, Deel and crypto each carry their own country coverage, separate from the firm's trading terms, so the payout column shows what each firm documents — a firm whose only rail cannot reach you is no use however good the rules are.

Conditions worth knowing before you pay

Eligibility is not always a clean yes or no. These firms attach a condition to Nigeria that does not fit in a table cell.

Firms that exclude Nigeria (10)

Each of these names Nigeria in its own published restrictions. We list them so you can rule them out before you reach a checkout that will turn you away — not as a judgement on the firm, which is usually following its clearing or payment partner rather than making a choice about you.

Frequently asked questions

Why is Nigeria on so many prop firm restricted lists?

Almost never because of Nigerian law. Where a firm explains at all, it points at its payment processor or clearing partner, and Nigeria tends to appear alongside Vietnam, Pakistan and the Philippines on lists that are really fraud-risk scoring at the payment layer. The practical consequence is that these lists move when a firm changes processor — a no today can become a yes, so confirm on the firm's own page before you buy.

How do Nigerian traders get paid?

Crypto (usually USDT) is the rail that reaches Nigeria most reliably; Rise and Deel coverage varies and direct bank wires are the least commonly supported. Check the payout column before you spend an evaluation fee — passing is worth nothing if the firm cannot pay you.
