Best Prop Firms for Malaysian Traders in 2026
Malaysia appears on a fair share of CFD firms' restricted lists and almost none of the futures firms', so the right answer for a trader in Kuala Lumpur is a specific list, not a ranking. We checked all 54 firms we track against their own terms of service, FAQ and restricted-country pages: 10 state that they accept Malaysian residents, 9 exclude the country outright, and 35 do not document it either way — those are left off this page rather than guessed at. The second gate is getting paid. Rise, Deel and crypto each carry their own country coverage, separate from the firm's trading terms, so the payout column shows what each firm documents — a firm whose only rail cannot reach you is no use however good the rules are.

Conditions worth knowing before you pay
Eligibility is not always a clean yes or no. These firms attach a condition to Malaysia that does not fit in a table cell.
- AquaFunded — Not a full no: Instant Funding models only, capped at $50K funded per trader. The evaluation challenges are closed, which is why the firm sits in the excluded list.
- ThinkCapital — Not a full no: clients based in Malaysia may buy the BOLT instant-funding account only; the Dual Step, Lightning and Nexus challenges are closed, and buying one via VPN voids funded status. Listed as excluded because the standard challenges are shut.
- Fintokei — Fintokei files Malaysia under 'countries with restricted new purchases' — a new account cannot be bought, which is a closed door for a new reader.
- For Traders — The explicit 'available to all traders' statement covers the futures accounts; for forex and crypto the basis is the terms' restricted-jurisdiction list, which does not name Malaysia.
- Hola Prime — Accepted, but the forex capital allocation for Malaysia is capped at $90K instead of the usual $400K, and the $100K and $200K account sizes are hidden at checkout.
Firms that exclude Malaysia (9)
Each of these names Malaysia in its own published restrictions. We list them so you can rule them out before you reach a checkout that will turn you away — not as a judgement on the firm, which is usually following its clearing or payment partner rather than making a choice about you.

Frequently asked questions
Why do some prop firms exclude Malaysia?
Firms rarely say. Where a reason is given it is the payment processor or clearing partner's country list rather than Malaysian law, and Malaysia tends to appear on the same lists as the Philippines and Vietnam. Futures firms almost never exclude it. Because these lists follow the payment layer, they change when a firm switches processor — confirm on the firm's own page before you pay.
How do prop firms pay Malaysian traders?
Rise and Deel are the common rails and both reach Malaysian bank accounts; crypto (USDT) is the usual alternative. Direct wire to a Malaysian bank is less often offered. The payout column shows what each firm documents.
