Best Prop Firms for Indian Traders in 2026

“Prop firm” means two different things in India. A domestic proprietary desk on the NSE or BSE hires traders to trade the firm's own capital — that is a job. The firms below are online funding programmes: you buy an evaluation, trade a simulated account and are paid a share of the simulated profit. This page covers the second kind. We checked all 52 firms we track against their own terms of service, FAQ and restricted-country pages: 18 state that they accept Indian residents, 1 exclude the country outright, and 33 do not document it either way — those are left off this page rather than guessed at. The second gate is getting paid. Rise, Deel and crypto each carry their own country coverage, separate from the firm's trading terms, so the payout column shows what each firm documents — a firm whose only rail cannot reach you is no use however good the rules are.

A domestic proprietary desk trades the firm's own capital on NSE or BSE and employs its traders — that is a job, and it is regulated as such. The firms on this page are online funding programmes: you buy an evaluation, trade a simulated account and are paid a share of the simulated profit. They are not Indian entities and are not registered with SEBI. Whether you may remit money abroad to buy an evaluation is a question about RBI and the Liberalised Remittance Scheme, not about the firm — take that one to a qualified advisor, because we document what firms say, not what the law permits you to do.

Which prop firms accept Indian residents?

The firms above state it themselves — in their terms of service, their FAQ, or a published restricted-countries list. We do not infer acceptance from a country simply being absent from a restricted list, because that is not permission. Payment is the second gate: many firms bill in USD through international card processors and pay out via Rise, Deel or crypto, so check the Payout rails column alongside the eligibility.
