Canada is rarely excluded as a whole, but the province matters: several firms carve out Ontario, British Columbia or Quebec under provincial securities rules, so a checkout that accepts Canada can still refuse your address. Province conditions are listed under the table. We checked all 54 firms we track against their own terms of service, FAQ and restricted-country pages: 19 state that they accept Canadian residents, 1 exclude the country outright, and 34 do not document it either way — those are left off this page rather than guessed at. Conditions worth knowing before you pay

Eligibility is not always a clean yes or no. These firms attach a condition to Canada that does not fit in a table cell.

• FundedNext — Futures: 'Canada (except Ontario)' — Ontario residents are excluded, everyone else may buy and trade, and live funding is reviewed by the Risk Desk. CFD: Canada is not on the restricted list.
• Lark Funding — Quebec is excluded; no other province is named. Lark is Canadian-domiciled and pays out through Riseworks.
• QT Funded — MT5 is closed to Canadian residents; cTrader and TradeLocker are not.
• The Trading Pit — CFD challenges are explicitly not offered to residents of Canada, though Canada is not on the firm's total-ban list.
• Top One Trader — MT5 is closed to Canadian residents; MatchTrader (from $5,000) or TradeLocker (from $10,000).
• Topstep — Canadians trade on a sub-account of Topstep's master account, treated as a US-based account rather than through a Canadian brokerage.
• TradeDay — Canadians outside Ontario may take the evaluation and a Funded Sim account but are not eligible for a Funded Live account — a broker-imposed limit the firm says has no exceptions. Ontario residents are not covered by that clause.
