Australia is the sharpest product split on this site: ASIC's rules push many CFD prop firms to exclude Australian residents outright, while the futures firms — trading CME contracts through US brokers — mostly do not care where you live. We checked all 56 firms we track against their own terms of service, FAQ and restricted-country pages: 19 state that they accept Australian residents, 3 exclude the country outright, and 34 do not document it either way — those are left off this page rather than guessed at. Rise, Deel and crypto each carry their own country coverage, separate from the firm's trading terms, so the payout column shows what each firm documents — a firm whose only rail cannot reach you is no use however good the rules are.

Conditions worth knowing before you pay

Eligibility is not always a clean yes or no. These firms attach a condition to Australia that does not fit in a table cell.

• Instant Funding — The firm sells simulated CFD, crypto and index accounts and has no futures line, so there is no second ASIC-driven list to check.
• ThinkCapital — A total exclusion with no product-line escape: ThinkCapital sells simulated CFD accounts only and names Australia on its restricted list.
• Alpha Capital — The availability list is a marketing page that hedges itself: “availability is always confirmed for your specific country at signup”. CFD line only.
• Crypto Fund Trader — Platform-scoped: Match-Trader carries no country restrictions at all, and MetaTrader 5 excludes only US residents.
• FTMO — Served only through FTMO's separate Australian entity at ftmo.com/au — VRGK Tech Pty Ltd, which holds an Australian financial services licence and aims its service at Australian residents. The global site routes you there. CFD challenges only.
• Fintokei — Australia is absent from all three of Fintokei's tiers, including the checkout list of countries where new purchases are switched off. Worth re-checking before you buy, because that middle tier changes without notice.
• For Traders — The firm's plain “available to all traders, except those from our restricted countries” wording covers the futures accounts. For the forex and crypto accounts the basis is only the terms' exclusion list, which does not name Australia.
